Significant Figures Calculator

Significant Figures Calculator is a suite of utilities which assists the aspiring chemist to learn, and accurately apply, the rules of Significant Figures to simple calculations.

The four utilities contained in the application are:

1. Significant Figures Calculator: Applies Significant Figure rules and rounds the result of any two operand operation.

2. Significant Figures Counter: Gives the number of Significant Digits contained in an integer or floating point number entered.

3. Significant Figures Converter: Changes the number of Significant Digits in an integer or floating point number to the desired amount entered.

4. Significant Figures Rules: Lists the rules being applied during any calculation, counting, or conversion which is done using the application.
